Community Policing/Relations/Crime Prevention Specialist
The Village of Minooka is accepting resumes
for a full time position of Community Policing Director.
The preferred candidate will possess experience with a variety
of community relations, crime prevention, program development,
and training skills, preferably with police work. The position
takes direction from the Chief of Police and duties include
coordinating, presenting, training, and preparation for police
and community meetings and programs.

Office Coordinator
The Village of Minooka is accepting resumes
for a full time Office Coordinator. The preferred
candidate will possess experience and abilities with a variety
of clerical, secretarial, computer task and duties associated
with municipal government, preferably police experience, such
as, but not limited to, extensive public contact,
confidentiality, computer technical resources, technical
assistance, computer software, correspondence which is
sensitive, coordinating and supervising office functions and
employees and training. This position takes direction from
the Chief of Police.

Enumerators for Special Census
The Village of Minooka is taking a special census this spring
and is seeking interested people to help the Village with this
endeavor. Most positions involve locating households, updating
addresses, and conducting interviews with respondents.
Enumerators meet with their crew leaders daily to turn in
completed work. Jobs last anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks and
the Village is planning for the census to take place in April.
Enumerators work flexible hours, primarily evenings and weekends
when respondents are home. It is expected that all
employees will work a minimum of 25 hours each week.
The pay rate range is from $11/hour to $16/hour. U.S.
Citizenship is required. Employees must be 18 years of age
or older. Those working in the field must have a valid
driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
