April 30, 2008 - Special Olympics Fundraiser

Special Olympics Illinois is a not-for-profit organization offering year-round training and competition in 19 sports for more than 20,000 athletes ages 8 years and older with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics programs enhance physical fitness, motor skills, self-confidence, social skills and encourage family support.

We are asking for your assistance in this fundraising campaign. On May 9, 2008, between the hours of 0500-1400 hours, the Minooka Police Department is having their first annual "Cop on Top" fundraiser for Illinois Special Olympics located at Dunkin Donuts, 106 N. Ridge Rd. Minooka, IL. 60447. Our officers will be on the rooftop of Dunkin Donuts until our goal of $1,000 is raised.

Together we can accomplish our fundraising goal and make a difference in these athlete’s lives!!
