Child Safety Seat Inspections
Sergeant Fiedler, Sergeant Beeler and Denis Tatgenhorst are
certified Child Safety Seat Inspectors. They will gladly check
your child's seats to make sure that they are installed
correctly, your seat has not been recalled, your seat meets
safety standards, and your seat if correct for your child.

Does the Minooka Police Department offer fingerprinting
services?
We are available to fingerprint citizens for
employment, adoption, licensing, or background investigations,
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Fingerprinting is done on a
walk-in basis, however, we are the only able to provide this
service if our booking room is unoccupied. Appointments cannot
be made. There is a fee of $12.00 for all fingerprint services.
How can I obtain a copy of a police report?
Accident reports can be obtained through the Records Department
of the Minooka Police Department, hours of operation are Monday
through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. There is a $5.00 fee for all copy
requests.
All other requests may be requested by filling out
a Freedom of Information form available at the Records
Department or online by
clicking here. Or you can send us a request
in writing via fax or email. All requests need to be in writing.
You will receive a copy of your response within 5 working days.
If a report is pending an investigation, or if there are any
court proceedings involved, we cannot release the report.
What is Minooka Police Departments Hiring Process?
Every two years we take applications, there is an application
fee of $25.00. A Power Test is done and an eligibility list is
established. That eligibility list is good for two years.
I want to have a block party, what do I need to do?
There is a form that needs to be filled out and turned in 7
days prior to your event.

Can I get a
shoulder patch?
The Minooka Police Department prohibits
the sending, exchanging or trading of Minooka Police Department
uniform shoulder patches with any individual, group, or
business.
We have problems with speeders in our
neighborhood. What can be done about this?
Call the
Minooka Police Department and speak with Sergeant Gary Fiedler
and ask the speed trailer to be placed at a location mentioned.
