The Village Clerk’s office is located in the Finance and Administration Department of the Village Hall at 121 E McEvilly Road. The Village Clerk is an appointed official responsible for maintaining the Village Seal and records of the Village of Minooka. The Village Clerk records and maintains the meeting minutes and agendas for the Village Board as well as maintains the minutes for the Plan / Zoning Commission, and is the Freedom of Information Act Officer and Local Election Official. The Clerk also administers applications for businesses, liquor and tobacco licenses, vending machines licenses and solicitor permits, and any application for the Plan / Zoning Commission for rezoning, special use and variances, as well as their review of preliminary and final plats.
