The Village of Minooka distributes a bimonthly community newsletter. Village residents may subscribe to receive a print newsletter, which arrives around the first of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Each newsletter contains news and upcoming event information from the following agencies:
- Village of Minooka
- Minooka Police Department
- Minooka Public Works Department
- Minooka Fire Protection District
- Three Rivers Public Library District
- Grundy County Land Use Department
- Local churches and places of worship
- Local schools and other nonprofit organizations
